72 RR tire size

New to group. I need to know what size tires I can stufff into my 72 RR. I had the old school hotrod look before with some M/T N50 (didn't fit so well) and had to be jacked up. Now I would like to get something to fit inside rear wheel wells. Backspacing would also be helpfull. Thanks for any help. I am also leaning towards 17" Torq thrust M, black.
