Engine offset??
Is it an optical illusion or is the engine (383) on my 64' Plymouth Sport Fury offset a few inch's to the right in order to clear the stearing box? Or do I have a problem with my engine mounts?

It's been a long long time since I've worked on my 64, by my recollection is the same as what you "see." If you had a mount problem, the engine would probably be moving around under torque and causing other problems, like shift linkage binding, noise and banging, etc.

offset
no you are not seeing things, I have a 1967 coronet 500 it was an original 318 2barrel, I bought the car when i was 15 and shortly after the tranny went out on me so I decided to put in a new trans and a 360, the 360 had a high rise aluminum intake so I got a second hood and cut a hole in it so the air cleaner would clear and had to cut the hole offset because the steering comes out just far enough that the motor mounts are moved over.
