I have a 6horse . 150 gal. tank for a scat blaster cabinet i bought. its big enough to hold 2 car rims. at ounce. I paid 500 for the comp. and 650 for the blast cabinet and vacume canister for it. it was sent to me ready to use minus the sand. youll need at least a 5 h.p. comp. w 150 lbs storage. to run this type of blaster.

commando, At times yes I do, what happens is if you dont have a dryer on your comp. the moisture gets into the nozzle, then causes the sand to harden, you have to take the blast nipple out and use a pick to get the hard chunks of sand out of the barrel then it works great again. and too if you dont sift the sand very often , you get all the chunks of goo from the parts in the sand intake and it plugs it up. If you start loosing pressure just hold the end of the gun against your gloved hand and tap the trigger a couple times, this will force the air backwards into the intake tube and clear it out.

I never pulled the nozzle off, that might be a good starting point, I do however have it unclamped into the gun so I can blow out the feed line every so often. Thanks.
