Open your eyes it is easy to see...Go look at it then...You can see the clearcoat is off the basecoat in the pillar picture...Quarters are full of filler....around windshield has been fixed and is wavey and not crisp...Go buy the car and stop wasting everybodies time...You know you want to buy it and know matter what anyone say you will have a reason why you should...Do it before it to late and when it turns out to be a bondo bucket and not worth what you paid then look in the mirror and blame yourself....I can see it is full of filler and the guy that looked at it walked away without putting a deposit for a reason...Bill

Im not hurt a all....I have nice cars many of them, and was just giving you my opinion...Bottom line is you need to go look at it and if you like you buy...Nobody here can make your mind up....You scoffed at 24,000 for a done car...You will have at least that in this car and more by the time it is done...Quarters,Transmisson,Paint,Etc,Etc...

Been following this from the start and you seem to have gotten a lot of good advice. I noticed you are asking the same questions on another Forum that I frequent. You are getting the same answers...GO LOOK AT THE CAR...Make a low ball offer if you think it is too much and then negotiate. Go look at it and if you want it buy it. But wait, Bill is gonna buy it for you for St. Patty's Day. Nice guy you are Bill.

I tried to go…then he says that we can't test drive it…then i say then you can drive it and I will sit shotgun…
He says no..
I say, how the hell do you expect to sell a car if we can't even take it around the block!
So again, I'm glad I didn't make the 4 hr round trip drive, just to find out that we can't even drive the car

I can see what pro is talking about with the body work. I've done some myself. I guess the more your around it the easier it becomes to spot. Since you plan to bring it back here to NOLA our climate tends to make bad body work pop up real quick. The tranny wouldn't bother me as much, but I'd dump that one anyway. I'd be more concerned with bad body work and hidden stuff that will haunt you later.
