temp gauge 66 bel II 318
newbie here again and will probably be a PITA for a bit since I know very little about this car
I've searched this forum but need help with this:
How do you test a temp gauge? the needle does not move at all from cold. I would like to use the stock gauge and I'm going to try to replace the temp sending unit on the intake today if I can find a replacement. thanks

temp sender
Remove the wire from your sender and touch it to ground. With the ign. switch on, the gauge should peg out to HOT. If so, your sender is bad. Senders are inexpensive and easy to replace. Her is one.
