Freaking Snow in Florida

I thought when I moved to the Sunshine State several years ago I had left this shirt behind!!!!!!! We have had a bitterly cold spell ( For Florida now Mind you) this week.. Had several lows in the 20's but daytime it did warm to the 50's... But still below the normal highs for this time of year.. 70's... But this morning we woke up to sleet, freezing rain and some VERY light snow flurries.... Its hurmorus to hears the idiots on the tv talking about how to drive on frozen roads and how to avoid "black ice".. Like they know what the hell they are talking about.. I'm sure most of them are transplants like I am and have experienced this before in their previous lives, but getting a REAL Flordia Cracker to slow down because of something he can't see is just not going to happen!!!!!!

Anyway, my dear wife ( FLorida Cracker) made this iceman from the sleet on our patio table.... Its almost 5 " tall bu this is her first snowman. She is as giddy as a school girl.... Great so see here so excited.... Well worth the little pain of thsi cold weather..

Orlando is expected to set an all time daily high low of 39 today.....

Hey Al Gore, WHERE THE HELL IS YOUR GLOBAL WARMING NOW??????

Palm trees should be OK... Its the fruit that you need to invest in now... In the next two weeks orange juice will go out of sight... And strawberries..... They got hit very hard also.......

17 degrees out here today. I used to live in florida and I'll bet thet strawberry crop is history. I used to go to the strawberry festival in Plant City in February.
Global warming is a bunch of hooey. Just read some of Rob Wolf's editorials on the subject in Mopar Collector's Guide.
