Try your local and surrounding Craigslist,under auto parts. You can find heavy duty 727's in old motorhomes. Good luck.

theres a couple cheap around me on CL as well; do you know you can use the case from a 2WD (just not the tailshaft or its housing) those would need to come from the 4X4 trans. SB or BB? Arizona? Being cars dont rust there I'd think there are still plenty of these running the streets and therefore ,more likely a salvage yard would keep them and not crush, compared to my part of the US.

Try Pirate4x4.com. There is a huge forum over there that is for 4 wheeling guys. There might be something on there.
