Dana 60 widths?
I have a 74 Roadrunner with an 8 3/4. I am going to upgrade to a 4-link, I am also looking at upgrading to a Dana 60. Does anyone know where I can find a list of vehicles with Dana 60 and their widths? I was looking for info on trucks and anything else they came in. Maybe even newer ones that have factory rear disc? or is that asking to much?

Why not keep the 8 3/4?
The dana 60s that come in trucks are going to be full floating while the dana 60s that came in the cars are semi floating. What is the main use of this car?

You can build the 8 3/4 to handle it I'm sure. They are just as strong as the dana 60s.
You could spend on the money on a B-body dana 60, I think I saw one that needed to be rebuilt in my area for $1000. I would think though that you could build a narrowed truck dana 60 though for cheaper.

I do know this....
If you can find a '77 or newer Dodge Monaco Police/Sheriff/Highway Patrol issue car with the 440, they have the Dana 60 and it's a straight bolt in swap.
A buddy of mine and I swapped the 8 3/4 for the Dana 60 into a '72 Charger R/T.
