Header Bolt Issues

I have a 360 Magnum in my 37 Plymouth Coupe and have an issue with the header bolts coming loose over time. Have to tighten them every few hundred miles. Using ARP stainless bolts and the washers that came with them.

This is my first Magnum all other Mopar V8s have been big blocks or LAs. Is this a common issue with the Magnums?

They don't leak but they compress forever. But that's what I was looking for.

These kick azz if you have bolts that vibrate loose all the time>>>>> https://www.lawsonproducts.com/Nord-...Steel/58098.lp

But if its just the gasket keeps crushing.... Thats a whole other issue

You can try them but IMO it just takes finding the crush limits of the gaskets.

Also... I have found over the years that exhaust systems that are mounted to rigid always have a tendency to work loose and cause leaks at times.

Yes they are Magnum heads, but I have LA valve covers. Work great with no leaks so far. Just used a little form a gasket on the gaskets when I assembled them.
