78 Cordoba
Hey here are some pics and info about my Mopar, a 78 Chrysler Cordoba
My great grandpa bought this car brand new in 78, he didn't drive it much, never drove it in the winter and always kept it in his garage. at one point it was sitting in there for over 15 years untouched. Shortly before he passed away he handed the car down to my dad in 2001 with just under 50,000kms and the original firestone whitewalls still on the rims. He used it as a summer daily driver for a few years and took it on a few camping trips to the mountains and the car always ran like a top.
About 4 years ago my dad handed the car down to me with just under 80,000kms on the odometer and I've been driving it as a summer DD ever since. The car hasn't needed much work, when my dad got it he replaced the brakes, tires and radiator and since i've had it it's only needed a new brake master cylinder. I've taken the car on a couple 5000km road trips with no problems and just a couple weeks ago drove 1800kms straight only stopping for gas when I moved from Saskatchewan to BC (Vancouver island) and the car developed its first oil leak.. NOOO! haha anyways here are some pictures.. (oh yeah the car now has 102,xxx kms)
Shortly after my dad got the car:
And the car how it looks today (still has original paint, chrome, glass, interior and dealer sticker lol)
Thanks for lookin! hope you enjoyed the pictures!
