75 D200, frame VIN location?

G'day again.

I have a 1975 Dodge D200 here and since one of the previous owners swapped the cabin as well as the bed, i need to know where the VIN is stamped on the frame to get the car licensed.

Only stamped numbers i have found yet are on the drivers side rail midships, but it is not the VIN, it looks more like a part number .

Please help, im getting really desperate here!

I had a 78 D200 and I never noticed the VIN number on the frame.

Hopefully someone else knows if dodge did do that and where they would be.

Cab is from a mid eighties Buick Skylark, i´m afraid that won´t work out.
