T56
Does anyone know what is reguired to put a late model T56 6 speed behind a 440 ? All help appreciated.

A custom bellhousing and flywheel (or a lot of research to figure out what friction disc will work with the flywheel and pressure plate of your 440 and still have the right input shaft diameter and spline count for the T56). I'm sure it's been done, but I'm not aware of any conversion kits. Advance adapters may have something as far as the bellhousing, and you might get in touch with the companies that offer T56's for sale to find out about the clutch/flywheel issue.
