1990 TBI 360 vacuum routing

Hey all. I have a tbi 360 and I was wondering if anybody would have a photo or info on the vacuum line routing at the 3 solenoids on the passenger valve cover. I have the full service manual but my issue is that on the furthest rearward of the 3 sensors, there are 3 vacuum lines that come together (I think it links the 3 switches) but the plastic peice they come into is broken so they are just running into open air. In the manual there is a picture but this piece isnt included. Is this just supposed to be a closed housing?

The vehicle is running ok but seems a bit rough and the plugs are a bit white. im also getting a bit of transmission shudder in 3rd gear, and it isnt shifting into o/d. Trying to rule this out as a culprit.
