Other than Australia or New Zealand Where can I purchase Valvoline VR1 10w-40

Other than Australia or New Zealand where can I purchase Valvoline VR1 10w-40?

The engine builder has informed me that this is the best oil for this engine to run after break-in.

I've looked online and went to several local auto stores (Oreilly's, Kragen, Auto Zone, Napa etc.) and none of them carry the 10w-40.

One of the reasons this oil was recommended was because of its high zinc content. The car will be driven around the streets on weekends and will not be drag raced.

Thanks in advance.

You can use some of the diesel oils as they have more zinc. I use Rotella 10/40 in my motorcycle OR you can use Brad Penn oil Recommended by some of the big engine builders

Zink additive

You can buy ZDDP online to add to the oil. Approx. $9.95 a bottle. Very important when running flat tappett cams.

I run the VR1 20W50 with no problems. You can expect higher oil pressures when the motor is warmed up.
