Ok 85 diplomat 318 auto with electronic fuel computer crap. Im changing it to the old 70's set up well ignition. as it runs like crap and no power. (only 83k on it)

I know i need a none electric 2bbl carb/a 2 prong vac distributor/the ecu/resistor/and?

what type cars should i look to pull this out of? And what ecu do i need the 4 or 5 prong? and do i need a different coil or can i use mine?

Im going to a junk yard tomarrow and need to know asap and i know they sell a kit but i dont have the funds for that. Let me know thanks And does anyone know how to wire this? or has a pic or something?

So you need an Ign module, distributor, balast resistor Carb and maybe a manifold if you want to use a 4bbl carb any 318/360 can be a donor Doesn't matter if it is a car or Van except for the linkage

so a 340 or 360 intake will work? and where is the cheapest kit online? i might just go that route

Check the junk yards first !! Dist, ign,balast resistor can be had cheap..2bbl carb and intake cheap too !!! Unless you want an aluminum manifold.. Look early to mid 70's LA motor

ok i got a icu from a 360 dodge truck with the resistor but the dissy was a duel pick up type. so i got another icu and single distributor from a old dodge rv with a 360 will these icu's work they both have the chrysler mark. and i scored a eldebrock performer 4bbl intake for $25 also i have a accel super coil can i use that in swap or will i need anything else?
