1973 satellite 440 msd 6al ignition install issues
It's been a while but here is the deal. I have had an orange box with a ready to run I stalled and had some breaking up on acceleration so I swapped it for the digital 6al. It starts and runs good but the alternator is squealing like crazy and the car won't stop even after I Remo e the key, run on...i followed the diagrams for the resistor both ways, for run on and the other way listed 8 t he instructions but still want shut off until I remove ghetto terminal from the battery. I had not set up the ready to run and not good with electric but on the positive post of the call there was a tarnish brown wire and a blue with yellow traces. I need to know how the heck 8 wire this so I don't lose my alternator and can actually stop the car from running. Thanks
