69 Roadrunner 383 won't start.
I've recently taken the car home from sitting in a family storage barn for the past 15 years. For the past two years we've been able to drive the car as it's run very well. Since getting it home, I've been able to start it without any issue until today. When I turn the key all the gauges come to life but I get no click from the starter. I've checked the battery and I'm within 12v tolerance. I've been looking through the forum trying to see if there is anyone else who's experience this, no luck, so I'm going to post my own question and see if any of you can help.
THANKS!

Welcome to the site... Great Car to enjoy driving !!!
My first thought is. Neutral safety switch is not working. The car thinks its in Drive?
Move the shifter back and forth a couple times and see if the helps. If its a 4 speed car.... Make sure the Clutch pedal is pressed all the way down or check to see if the wire to the switch didnt get kicked off....
Keep us posted....

I would check all the connections, starter must be tight and grounded to block, block must be grounded to frame or directly to battery. Check and clean all starter wire connections. Basic stuff.

So, when I got home after work I went out to take a look. I figured try to see if it would start first and it did. I drove it for a few miles shut it down and it fired right back up. I then checked all my connections and all appeared and felt tight. FYI starter ground goes to what looks like a relay on the firewall (I'll post a photo once I get under the hood again). Should that be this way for the Roadrunner?
Now, I have noticed that the wiring throughout the engine bay as well as under the dash is less than perfect, and am wondering if any one has a copy of or link to a wiring diagram for this car? It will help me fix the not-so-pretty wires as well as help me troubleshoot a lot faster.
Thanks for your help guys! Much appreciated.

Question: Does it run one of these?
my fury wouldn't start and would die if this thing wasn't grounded/seated correctly. used to give me fits. i finally bared some steel and it never gave me an issue again.

It does and I have made sure that it's grounded as you suggested. Thanks for the tip!
Thank you all for your suggestions. I've made sure all grounds are tight and making good clean contact to bare metal. I've also tidied up a few questionable wires and their connections in the hopes that helps. So far so go, the car has been firing up every time since.
And, if anyone has a link to the wiring diagram for these cars I would much appreciate it. I think I'm going to have to do some repairs for other little electrical gremlins before I have time to put in an entirely new harness.

Thank you all for your help. I was able to source a wiring diagram online. And with your suggestions I was able to clean up some questionable wiring, provide proper grounding where needed and now she fires right up and runs smooth.
Here is a link to where I found the wiring diagram. http://www.mymopar.com/downloads/196...RunnerFull.pdf
Thanks again all!
