1970 Plymouth Fury III convertible. Atlanta
Brought me a new ride so this one has got to go
1970 with a 318ci 2 barrel V8 auto, PS, PB, AC car. I brought it out of Wauneta , Nebraska in feb 2012, had it shipped here since it had sat for five years and set to work on it, the owner had owned it over 30 years before he passed away, i had a new battery, carb, fuel pump, water pump and plugs fitted right away, also at that time had it converted to electronic ignition using all genuine mopar products, inc new dizzy, cap & wires. new dual exhaust, new brakes all around inc master cyl and power booster, ball joints, tie rod ends, the odd seal and bearing and everything rubber on the car was swapped out for new inc the tires.
recently I had the white vinyl roof replaced with an expensive black canvas roof, the stuff that makes the roof go up and down was serviced or replaced, the front seat had the springs re tension, so your **** did not drag on the floor, the vinyl on the bottom of the from seat needs to be repaired or replaced, I lowered the car 3 inches, blocks in the back, loosened the torsion springs in the front, it drives ok for its age, but its 44 years old with drum brakes, so bare that in mind lol it has the original AM/FM radio in and and it works, i have all the handbooks, its no stop light special, but it purrs along and makes all the right noises.
its a 20 footer, not rusty, but the paints faded and there's a few spot repairs that could have been better matched, it needs a good tidy up and a few old car repairs doing, but it was a daily driver for over a year when I had no regular car just a motorcycle, in fact I did over 10k in it the two years I've owned it and I drove it to the mountains several times for a long day out and Fl a couple of times, inc some 700 mile days, I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.
$7850 will take bikes or a regular car/van/truck in part trade
it looks better in this pic than it does in real life lol
inside
the black top
it may have some drool in it
its replacement
