New to the Mopar scene
Have a question for all of the Mopar fans. This is kind of hard without pics. but here goes... Do you think 1,800.00 is a good deal on a 1974 Swinger Original car,318 s.b.,auto, runs and drives good, straight body, needs light restore. The car is all original so the man says. Paint is in ok shape as in all there but needs repaint. Also what should i look for when buying as in body wise? Where are the bad spots to watch out for besides around back windshield? To me it is in great shape. I really want the car have always loved the body style and size for power of course. Any replys will be appreciated thanks.

All there in good shape. I'm in Georgia so alot of times floors and trunk is good we don't have alot of rust problems here like up north. We can be going down the road and see a newer car and tell if it's been brought down from up north lol. Thanks for the replys though, i didn't think anyone was going to reply at all with 40 views and no replys. But i'm used to all the other forums i'm on and you get replys within minutes. But what about the price is it a good deal or just average asking price? I know most mopars "unless you have a rare find" is worth more most of the time built, customized,or modified in some way.

hey panhead i live in georgia too and i have a 70 dart in which i bought here the problem areas that i have found on mine is mostly minor the rear window area in the bottom corners, spare wheel well, but as for 1800 asking price that just really depends upon you prices of these older cars just keep going up i think if it runs and drives looks decent sounds like a fair price espeacialy since it has a v-8 already in it and more than likely to have disc brakes
