Overheating while driving only.

Hey there new member hoping I can offer advice on what I know. Right now I have been battling an overheating issue since I installed a fresh rebuilt 440 in my Cuda. New big block radiator dual electric fans with a shroud. Replaced water pump with 3 different styles with no fix. 4 different thermostats with no help in the issue. I have never had this issue with any of my vehicles and I’m at a complete loss. The heat up is only happening above 2300 rpm and when it get gets to 230 I pull over and it cools right down at an idle. I am running a edelbrock rpm manifold with a Holley sniper and hyper spark ignition. I have pulled the heads suspecting a plugged water jacket and that’s where I am now. I am going to install a new set of 440 source stealth heads. And put it back together.

How much timing advance do you have?
Have you verified with a timing light the timing curve, I suspect you will need 15 to 20 degrees Initial with a total of 33°… and 45 to 50* vacuum or total under light throttle.
