1984 D250 318 Auto
I just wanted to drop a line and say hi! My name is George and I reside in Orlando, FL I have finally made the switch to Dodge from Ford and recently (like this week) aquired a 1984 D250 w/ a 318. I will post pics tomorrow. She needs a little work on my side. I am going to try and get the ac running with r152a, maybe spring spaces or new springs for the front to level it a bit, receiver hitch, looking at lower gears in the rear, lunch box locker, and ignition stuffs. (Hence why I joined lol)
I am going to be diving deep into the forums, but if anyone has some links right off the bat that would be appreciated. I had ready some where about ripping out like most all of the ignition stuff and running a msd 6al. I am going for the KISS method and replace most major items that like to fault. The trucks life will be mostly used for farm work. Hauling hay around, pulling stumps, weekends (if has prices ever get semi reasonable again) pulling the boat to the coast. ECT ECT. SO ANY thoughts, links, comments are greatly appreciated. It's been a while since I have messed with carb stuff. I just remembered always keeping my tools, some plug wires, cap/rotor, and half a case of oil on hand at all times hahahaha.
