dying out?

What's up mopar truck guys, I have a restored 85 W250, with a 440. Run mint and body's perfect, but lately, when I give the truck some gas, it'll sputter and almost die out (stall) in Drive. yes it's a 727 auto:/ anyway, anyone else had this sorta problem? Doesn't happen in reverse...

Yeah, my first thought was trash in the fuel system. Could be in the carb too, doesn't take much to clog those small passages.
