I'm pretty settled on the color. I will have to find a source to produce my custom decals. I need them to be high quality as per factory.
I altered the SUPER BEE original logo by using parts of the other letters to make the V and the I is just half of the U.
Needs a bit more tweaking, but...what do you think?

Original 8.75 will be rebuilt and upgraded. Something in a 4link with Sure Grip flavor and about 4.10 - 4.56 ratio. I'll prob go with 29inch tires so the math puts me in that range for tire smokin' launches and around 160MPH top speeds that I'll never see w/ '63 aero.

The exhaust manifold outlet is as big as the starter....to the right.....
If all goes well.....I may be able to pull the motor out this weekend and we can get a nice 360 view.

I used a strap instead of a chain b/c I don't have removal plates for this engine. The straps flexing prevent any higher pressure points on the valve covers. The white things are the 2 airbags. I pulled engine and trans together....just can't see the trans b/c the huge engine is in the way.

Next I will have to prepare the Viper floor area, dash and tunnel for install. Now I can see better what I'm dealing with. I sure hope I don't make any bad mistakes ......but I have a welder ready if I do

It's cool to see it progress as I've done it in my mind over and over...making changes as I go. Doing a lot of thinking on how to accomplish it is paying off. I hope to show that with damn near only basic tools and not even a real shop one can do something like this.

So be it... Thank you sooooo Much for sharing the build. I really like seeing it and all the photos... as for the current modification at hand... " Measure twice and cit once".... As for the "Back Yard Builds" I have to say, that SO-CAL is one of the best places for those kinds of jobs, only because of the weather and its clement.. But I will say, that I have been fortunate enough to have seen many many of the best on the biz and there back yard project builds become reality first hand down here in SO-CAL.... Other than that Cali sucks..Except the Cars Beach's, and Beer..lol
Love the build... Thanks Again... Bob

Thanks
While I do enjoy sharing the project I posted it to maybe help other to do their thing and to get input from viewers. Even with almost 1000 views it seems almost nobody posts

I've done many motor / driveline swaps and have years of automotive fabrication, your approach to this is a little different than I would take. The biggest concern I have is removing a large section of floor / cowl and replacing it with Viper sheet metal. The floor and cowl in your old mopar are structural and I would recommend frame connectors that extend to your rockers and include your trans crossmember. There should be large effort to stiffen that 50+ year old unibody let alone compensate for the chunk your going to remove, I would think about a 6 or 8 point cage also.

With almost 30yrs as a tech including antiques and Classics as well as military aircraft - I agree. Just because I mention SOME items does not mean that is ALL
I will be adding metal to the floorpan for strength as well as a rollbar. I do not plan to track the car and a full cage is a pain if driving a lot. I will go with 4 or 6 point for strength and safety....as well as provide the seat belt attach point. I am also trying to retain usage of the back seat if possible. When I get to the point where I am considering my cage and tubbing options I'll have a better understanding of the possibilities.

I like to "tinker"........check out the ZX-14 custom build I did right when the bikes came out in 2006
6psi netted 280HP w/o any other changes to the motor itself

1957 Eldo Brougham - very rare and damn expensive. This is as I just completed the final touches to the resto. I did it for a collector at his house. Car sold without buyer inspecting it.....$200K
But enough about my boring works LoL .......back to the current build........
