Those are some unusual options. White Wall tires too. You could try to Google the serial number and see if anything comes up. I found my old 67 427 Corvette Coupe that way.

I just won a EBay auction for an unsilenced air cleaner for the GTX. The seller said it was on his 67 R/T with an automatic. It looks lilke it has the Clean Air Package because the oil filler cap has the hose that connects to the air cleaner.

I just bought a 67 GTX with a 440. Two owner befor me took the scoops off and cut a hole in the hood. I found a hood, that was eazy, I am looking for the scoops. I can not find reproductions but I can make them but I have to get a set in the shop. If I can get a set I will reproduce 10 sets. Is there anyone out there that knows were the is a set of 1967 GTX Hood scoops.

Here is the unsilenced air cleaner before and after the wrinkle coat. The baseplate is just as large as the filter element so it gets air from all around. Without the snorkels the intake noise is a little more than before.

The inserts are available from Classic Industries, www.classicindustries.com, for $180. The scoops are harder to get although I seem to remember them being repopped by someone. If I can find them I will get back to you.

just going over a few few things ,trying to bring her back as close to orginal. found out that the oil pan was changed out few years back. the stamping number of 699. I think the correct number should be 402.. Is there a big difference and what parts be needed another than the 402 pan.....

1967 GTX shared the front bumper with 67 Belvedere and satellite only. There is a re-chromed one on Ebay right now for $800.00

Hello to all. I somehow stumbled across this forum and saw this thread. I immediately joined! We presently own 3 67 GTX`s. Here`s a pic of my daily driver. It`s a GG1 440 console automatic car. It has a freshly rebuilt 3:54 geared dana 60 rear.

I just got back from the Phoenix NASCAR race. On Saturday we went to car show and ran into a beautiful 67 convertible. Red/Black automatic. The owner is a collector of 67 GTX's and 67 R/T. I sent him the link to this thread. I hope he comes on as he could bring a lot of info.

I also met another owner at Crusin the Coast in Long Beach MS. He brought down his blue/white white stripe automatic GTX from Springfield, IL.

Does anyone know of a registry for 67 GTX's?

It's like I have GTX radar. All those cars at Belmont last year and I walk right up to Vito and then all the way across the country, the first car in this huge parking lot I go to was the 67 convertible.

Gerard, nice to meet you this past Saturday at the Pavillions.
Whatever I can ad to the 67 GTX Forum I would be happy to do so.
Growing up in Detroit and having my buddies work on the assembly lines really was an education. You would be surprised what went on. Anything goes !!
Here is a pic of two of my matching Hemi cars.

Welcome to the forum Dennis. Those two cars are awesome! Please add anything you can.
I did notice a few little things such as some cars have a all red hood emblem, my car does. Others have black and red inserts. I also notice that on the tail lights some of the tail lite bezels have red in the center between the light and tail panel, others are silver. I guess it is like you said...."anything goes".
I wish we would have had more time to talk at the show.

Shoulder Belts 1967 GTX

Thanks! This thread confirms the crazy long seat belts coming from my back seat that connect to extra belts in the front. I thought they must be aftermarket racing shoulder belts but I found Chrysler tags on them. So, these are an option!
Thanks for having this thread! -Gary

1967 HEMI Plymouth GTX

We're these cars available with heater delete option? If so, is a heater control delete plate/bezel available for sale?

Thanks in advance.

Assembly Manual

My father's first car was a 1967 GTX. He sold it when he went to college because he couldn't afford the gas to feed the 440. haha Something he always regretted. A few years back for his birthday I surprised him with his very own new to him 1967 GTX. I was a kid just out of college and couldn't afford a restored car. SO we have quite the project ahead of us.

I have had no luck finding a 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX assembly manual. Has anybody ever found one or do you guys know a source where I can get one? I have the service manual which is fine but I am really looking for an Assembly manual as well.

Any help would be amazing.
