1979 Cordoba Question(s)

Hey Folks,

I had a woman at work approach me and ask me if I wanted (for free) her late husband's 1979 Cordoba.

The issue - it's sat for 9 years. So, the engine, breaks, lines, paint, etc will all need doing. My question - is it worth the money I'll have to sink into it? I can do a lot of the work myself, but parts alone will get pricey.

On top of that, after sitting for so long the engine will need a teardown.

Just looking for some perspective on this... sure the car is free, but does it carry enough value to justify the parts/time investment? They're a little on the ugly site

Thanks all

Andrew
