2 Barrel to 4 Barrel
So i've decided to switch to a 4 barrel carb on my 318. As some of you may know I'm having fuel problems with the current 2 barrel setup on the car. Decided to go with the holley 670 cfm street avenger carb. Any suggestions as to which intake manifold to go with? I was thinking about going with an Edelbrock RPM manifold. Also any suggestions i should know about switching from 2 barrel to a 4 barrel setup that i may have not thought of would be appreciated.

i like 78's idea with the weiland/cam i'd also get some 85-87 yr 318 heads too while your changin the intake and stuff the one's you want came on the cop cars [diplomat, grand furys, etc, etc] and i think they also came on others these would work well for yours im not exactly sure but i think the last 3 casting no. are 308, you could check with challenger i think he knows a sight on the net that would give you the exact numbers or get the edelbrock aluminum heads

so heres exactly what i went with
670 CFM Street Avenger
Weiand Action plus intake manifold
20-7 holley carb linkage
mopar performance water neck
one last quick question. the intake manifold gasket should be the same exact as the regular stock intake manifold gasket correct me if im wrong. but it shouldn't matter if its a 2 barrel or 4 barrel intake manifold.

I would consider the Edlebrock Performer and Edlebrock intake.
The Eddy combo provides excellent performance, reliability and gas milage. Very easy to work on too.
The Holly may sqeak a bit more performance but your mileage will suffer considerably and you'll be constantly messing with it.
With the 318 and 360's I say Edlebrock.
