I really like your RR the way she is!

Installing the six pack won't negatively affect your resale, as long as you don't toss the original pieces out.

Personally I wouldn't waste the on it. ~shrugs~ but that's just me. 6 packs are a scream to drive though.

I don't want to put down the 6 pack, but it doesn't add a significant increase in performance over a good 4 bbl. If YOU want a 6 pack, by all means, go for it. It does have a significant cool factor. One other down side, they require a LOT of tuning...just be ready for that..

For the record, I am considering a 6 Pack for my stroker motor I am putting on my Duster

6-packs are hard to tune to get the best out of them. They are EXTREMELY cool to see on almost any Mopar, but why not just go with a dual quad setup? Easier to tune and you will have 8 instead of 6.

It is your vehicle though, do with it what YOU want. We can only make suggestions.

No doubt about it, 6 packs are really really sexy. Did I mention they're sexy? But I hate carbs anyway, and they hate me right back...so I wouldn't swap the system in. But that's me. I actually want to drive my cars and not scowl for hours with screwdriver in hand and get all bent.

If it were MY money (and it's not), I'd invest it elsewhere.

I'm a big fan of factory-stock cars. I believe a big block car should remain as stock as possible. What you want to do is reversible without great effort, but it may not be everyone's cup of tea if you go to resell it. Not everyone (including me) is great with carbs and the 6 pack might be daunting.

You don't have a 700 cfm on your 383? Well swap it out man!

If you already have a cam and headers then you probably need more carb. A well tuned 750 or 780 would give you the oomph you are looking for.

Has anyone tried a wideband O2 sensor? I was thinking about going with that set up to help monitor my carb(s).

wouldn't the six pack be easier to tune than dual fours?
on a six pack, you only tune the middle carb., the others are kind of like secondaries

Dual fours? I thought we were talking about using a well tuned 750, or 780 4bbl? For performance, I think that would be the best bang for the buck. For a performance with a cool factor, going with the MUCH MORE expensive Six Pack setup is the way to go. What is your current combination? Carb, intake, cam, comp ratio? What is the rest of the combination? Manual/Automatic? If auto, what converter? What rear end ratio? All these will help with the choice of carb(s).

Incase you haven't ordered a carb yet - I have heard great things about these carbs and customer service is above and beyond. Guess this guy (Jesse) know his stuff!

It's your car do what you want with it .. I would put the original engine is storage and put a 400 stroker in it or the 440 6 pack and have fun. The idea is to keep all the stock parts so it would be very easy to return it to stock if you decided to sell it....
