Post 66 Coronet carb

hey guys, what would be a good size carb for a 318 poly? Second, what would be better, put a 4 barrel carb and intake, or dual 2 barrel carb and intake? Or just put in a new regular 2 barrel carb?

a good set up in my opinion would be a single afb four barrel. 425 cfm for daily decent MPG, maximum 550 cfm is what i would go. i haven't seen a dual 2 barrel set up? but you will get better mpg with a single four barrel than with a single 2 barrel.

Also with a 4 barrel carb, you will only be running off of two barrels til the secondaries kick in (vacuum or mechanical depending on the carb). With running dual 2 barral carbs, you'll be running off all 4 barrels.
