-69 dodge charger ground cable(s)
Hi there! Im wrestling with unfinished -69 r/t project that i bought and since its my first mopar i often seem to get this feeling that i really should ask some advice before doing any more damage . How many grounding points should there be in a 440 big block? Should there be more than three, firewall to engine, battery to engine(under the pow.steer.pump bolt) and battery to radiator support? Allready bought some new cables, but i dont think i can get them to fit(tried to save some money in wrong place again).

It depends what you have done to the engine, the original 440 has 4; firewall to engine, wiring harness to engine (pass side rear bolt on head), battery to radiator holdown, battery to engine (driver's side front bolt where AC would be held down. I believe that's all, I just remember pulling those ones off of mine.

Thanks and yeap, all four points are attached. All the cables are propably not fixed to correct places(like the one under the pump bolt). It was the previous owner that rebuilt the engine and dropped it in. When i got the car, none of the wiring, hoses etc. were connected, so its little guessing and trying out for me now. Thanks again!
