72 Charger Drive Shaft HELP

I recently picked up a 1972 Charger, It did not come with a drive Shaft.
I have found on other posts that the one I need is 50 5/8 long, 3 1/4 diameter with 7290 u joints (Big Block). I have found one listed for sale that is advertised as 51" , Close Enough????? Also it has a flange ring at the rear of the shaft just in front of the U Joint attachments.
I have attached a picture If it loads correctly.
Is this the shaft I need?

Sounds like it would work. Personally I would have one made up for your car
fresh , balanced ready to install !!! That flange would go to the front of the vehicle

Just wondering...
Why not use the one pictured rather than having one made, or re-made? Or find another one specifically for his car. What's the need for a new one? Is it just the harmonic balancer? I don't see a problem with it. The near 1/2" difference in length should pose no problem, should it?

A trial fit would be in order.. You have no idea about the condition Is it twisted & about to fail, lost its balance weights, is it bent ? A new drive shaft would not have the big weight.
