72 satellite Camber/steering problem

So I took a corner pretty fast and the problem started. I was hearing a tire skidding like my brakes had locked up. I could feel the engine under a lot of stress to keep the car going. Every time I hit a bump the car just wanted to fly off the road. I drove slow and listened for the car to start the skidding again. When it did I stopped and got out to look. My driver side tire looked like it had really bad negative camber. I've looked under the car and I don't see anything broken. I would appreciate any direction as to where I could find a solution, thank you.

Well you bent or broke SOMETHING. On girls this old it could be anything.........something rusted / cracked at the frame, K member, lower control arm, any number of things.

These are really very SIMPLE. For all the complications and terminology, there are only a few actual adjustments that you can make on a factory car...........

ride height, IE the T bar adjusters

toe in

caster / camber, on the upper arms

If the thing is out of line, either it's been hit and something bent, or something has come loose, or worn out or broken

You have to get dirty. You have to get under there. You might need a second person, to work the wheel, jounce the suspension, etc, while you watch. Look carefully at one side, then the other, take measurements. Find out "what is different."

You have a service manual?

Download one here, free

If you can take some good clear photos and post them, that might help, too

What it all amounts too Is that you need to rebuild the suspension. DO you have any rust issues ???
Put the car up on jack stands & push & pull the tire

Be careful. This is why I suggest the service manual. You do not want to look for the trouble with the car supported by the FRAME because this lets the tire "hang down" and bind up the suspension.

You want the car weight on the LOWER CONTROL ARM in order to check for play, and also to check the lower ball joint(s) that is, put the jack stand under the control arm

So I looked all over took the wheels off couldn't find anything broken but some of the bushings on the tie rod end have seen better days. The car does have quite a bit of rust but nothing looks broken. The only adjustment that I know of is on the lower control arm but I really don't think that's moved. The wheel looks fine when I lower down off the jack but when I take it out and turn the wheel back and forth it moves and the steering get really flimsy again.

I would take it to an 'old' alignment shop and have it looked at. I'm wondering if the lower control arm mount broke out of the K-frame. I checked your photos, but I don't think the problem is at the wheel end of the suspension, I'd be looking at the other end.
