trans brace clearly removed...pull motor or deal with torsion bars anybody? anything?

74' b body satellite has 318/ with small block 727 torqueflite. (trans has the long extension)

The trans extension runs several inches past and above the torsion bar support. Everything I read pretends there is no torsion bar support in the way. I can only fathom 3 ways to drop this trans. Can somebody tell me the right way?

How would one "tilt" a 160lb trans until the tail clears the torsion support?? would the bell housing even clear the motor, dropping the front of the trans? Note: this 318 usually came with a 904 trans, could it be they strapped a long version 727 in before the motor went back in?? or installed them together? Do I have to remove the extension from the trans first?? everything says dont!! I got nothing, please help.
