I see some 17x8 magnums for a decent price nearby. I'm looking for something bigger than the 14" ralleys on my '74 RR. Can a the car handle much more circumference than say a 40 series. I'm thing more of 255/55/17 all the way around 4.5 backspacing. Or even maybe a 60 series. I don't really like a small sidewall but do like the idea of a much bigger wheel (No not 20's!) Something that would clear some aftermarket brakes easily later on would be nice and still keep a stock look. Anyone have experience with something bigger than a 45 series /wide tire?
