b-body 318 to 440 swap

I've been reading up on this and I'm getting mixed reviews. I have a 1969 dodge Charger with a 318 and want to replace it with a 440. Can I use the same k-member and just beef up the torsion bars and suspension out front to make this engine swap? Thx for the help!

Yup, there are motor mounts available to change from a 318 to 440 without changing the crossmember, and changing torsion bars is all you need to do.

As for the mounts it was EASY when I used http://www.engine-swaps.com/frames/frame_Homepage.html
Was pretty cheap...around 200 bucks.Doing the same in my 72 Satellite and you may need to beef up the rear end , prob has the old tired 8.25 ...Just switched to 8.75 here
