318 to 440 motor swap!!!

318 to 440 motor swap!!!

i have a 81 cordoba with a 318 2 bl, but i found a 440 motor n trans i found in cali out of a motorhome that rolled over due to high winds while it was sitting in the guys yard. he told me he had just rebuilt the motor n tranni bout 2500mi. ago n has papers to prove it. now the question i have is wat all will i have to do to drop a big block 440 into a car that came with a small block 318??? ive droped motors into cars befor but never one type of motor to another. and is it a good choice to do so???

oh and they both still run strong but the motor home looks like crap, lol thats why hes givin it up sooo cheap!

you might need different motor mounts, the tranny crossmember might need to be moved, you will definitely need a larger radiator, and you will need a different driveshaft and make sure that your rear axle can handle the power from that BB.
