Cordoba 400?

Was going to buy this Cordoba for 400$ and it has the 6.6l 400 v8 thing is I was wanting to make it fast? Like 0-60 in 5.5 or 6 fast. Just wondering of these cars were hard to make fast ? I don't want to spend a lot of money.

That's a lot of car to move that fast.

Can it be done though? Of course.

If all you care about it 0-60 times then a simple gear swap in the axle will greatly help with that. just don't expect to go much faster.

the problem with the mid 70s 400 was 1 low compression & 2 lack of torque
the best fix is to build a 451 stroker using the 400 block , 440 source has kits but it costs $$ , you will be happy with the power though

It could be a fun car. First you have to realize that a Cordova is a 5K pound vehicle
0-60 in 5 seconds is going to take some $$$ horsepower
