I normally go with what the majority of people call my vehicle. For example, when I first got the J10 and brought it to work to fix it up and make it street legal (I worked at a dealership at the time), everyone kept saying "that thing is a beast" so it kind of stuck til it became off road only. Now it has no name. I haven't come up with one for my Valiant or Dakota yet either.

I know that all of my cars have had names. The good ones and the bad ones. LOL Even my little Honda Civic has a name. Ashley.

I think that I have settled on Grace for the Dart I am restoring. It was my great Grandmothers name.

names

Well...I've lots of Mopars and all of them have had names...some of them not appropriate for public knowledge.

Anyway, as a female myself, I acknowledge that my two current Mopars are indeed both females.

My 67 Plymouth is dark blue metallic, inside and out. She's a very hard starter. Sometimes my sons call her Big Blue, because well...she's big and blue. But most often we call her Cold-Hearted.

My 53 Plymouth Cranbrook sled project has a tentative name. Since the sled scene is big on tattoos, and I am into rockabilly...I figured I'd go with the "man's ruin" theme. She'll eventually be a crimson kandy with black flames and black chrome. By then, she'll be Siren. The Siren is a mythological creature that caused sailors to run their ships into the rocks, trying to find her when she sang. I figured that the Siren is certainly "man's ruin", and didn't trifle with them one at a time.

Just my two cents.

Morrigan

I have named my '69 roadrunner "BRAWLER" and he wears a personalized Tennessee plate that says exactly that. I named him this because I built it to really run and to uphold the Mopar tradition of making a good showing on a Saturday night brawl with the Shivvy's and Phord's. He has had many brawls I might add.
