I keep having this problem where the linkage from the door handle push button will disconnect.
Today it locked me out of my car this way. I am missing the inner door panel, so I can reach in and put the link back once I get into the car. But it seems to happen one in 10 times that I shut my door, the linkage will fall off.

I had the little clips that hold the linkage on before, but they kept falling off as well.

Anyone else have this problem?
Do I need new clips? where can I get them?

 

you might be using the wrong sized clip. try a body shop or a parts store.

if all else fails, secure it with a twist tie.
