Found a nice 1966 Dodge Coronet
Hey everyone. I posted this on the C-body DryDock forum that I belong to, but it might be more relevant on this B-body forum:
I was told by a co-worker that she thought she saw an old Fury at a local mom-n-pop garage - so I had to race over there and check it out. It turned out to be a really sweet 1966 Dodge Coronet 440 with a 318 engine and 61,000 original miles. It was garage-kept and in near perfect shape, with a few minor paint blems and an interior that is unbelievable for a 43-year old car. Even the original hubs look new! The town it's in has an increasingly older population, so these kind of cars pop up once in a while. I'm only interested in Furys right now, but I figured one of you guys might like it. I snapped a couple of pictures with my cell phone, but I'd be more than happy to drive back over there with my digital camera and take some higher resolution pictures for anyone interested. The garage owner was asking $3,000 for it, but I was told it's been there a little while and the owner was hoping to sell it before winter. I'm sure the price is negotiable. I'd rather see it in the loving hands of a forum member, than see some local teenager beat the hell out of it. The garage was called J Artman Auto Sales & Svc in Jeannette, Pennsylvania 724-523-2181. Hope someone can rescue it!
