Jack points 1965 Dodge Coronet

Hi ... I'm glad to have found this forum,

Where are the safe jack points for a floor jack and jack stands on a 1965 Dodge Coronet. I have the 1965 owners booklet but it only shows where to position the tire changing jack. I'd like to lift the car up and place jack stands behind the front wheels to do an oil change. Is the flat metal area under the motor a safe spot for a floor jack?

Thank you

If you are referring to the k-frame, then yes. Oil pan, no. Don't forget, if you are going to be under the car, it is safest to also use a locking jack. Jack the car up with the hydraulic, but dont rely on it. If it somehow fails, then the car will fall.
