Need Exhaust Help for 67 Belvedere with 318

Hey guys. The Belvedere's going in on Saturday for a new exhaust and I need some opinions on what size tubing I should use. I have a 318 with edelbrock performer intake, edelbrock performer 600cfm carb, Hedman headers and stock internals. I will be running duals with an x-pipe and magnaflow mufflers. I was thinking of going with 2.5" exhaust piping but need to know what everyone thinks? Is 2.5" too big? Should I go with 2 1/4"? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

2.5" is a good size for small block motors that are mildly built. That size will allow you to even swap out the 318 that you have for a 360 down the road with the same performance parts plus a cam.

I agree, 2.5" is a good size, you will be happy with it.
