Exclamation Need help!!!

Ive been fighting with this problem since i put the motor in. Everytime I let the clutch out the motor kills out or trys to kill out, Tranny is in neutral, bypassed clutched safety switch and it still does it. The darn thing acts like it losing ignition as soon as I let the clutch out. 74 roadrunner, big block conversion to 440 with 833.

1.Check and make sure the trans is really in Neutral. I have seen where the trans get in 2 gears at once and is basicly locked up or the shifter position lets one believe its in neutral when the trans is still in gear. Get the rear wheels off the ground and see if you can get the driveshaft to turn freely when in neutral.
2. Another thing, Carberated cars are not like todays FI cars in that you must give it gas as you let the clutch out although if the car is truly in neutal this should not be a issue.
