Does anyone have the part number for 8:3/4 3:55 , sure grip, 742 casing . 67 Plymouth . thanks pete . Just to clarify i am asking if there is any markings on the carrier to see if it houses 3:55 gears i know the casting number is 2070742 .

 

There are #s on the ring gear and also on a tab under on of the bolts if it is still there. Otherwise You need to physically look at the gears Or try to count the revolution as you turn the wheel
