I am missing something, and I am not sure what is supposed to go there. It is on both sides of the car. It is a silver lining that streatches from the front to back of the car, (from the front whell well to the rear one.)
This is a 67 GTX.

i dont think anything went there 67 except a screw

but it is a thin hole, so i dont know what kind of screws could go there

 

When I first saw your picture I wasn't for sure what you were referring to. That is a sill mldg and it took a small self cutting screw.
