Found a 1967 belvedere, original matching Hemi , with 4 spd console and 4.10 Dana. Body is in prime, very good, might need slight work before paint. Interior need carpet, that is about it. Seems like these cars are not so desirable, so they go for cheaper. Should I pick this up, is this still a really good deal? Price is 27,500, should I try for less, how much?

The guy is probably banking on the fact that its got a hemi, 4spd, and a D60 rear axle too to be asking that much.

 

Yeah and the body in primer sets off red flags since you can not tell how good the body is. With the economy is the prices for collector cars have come down a lot.

 

Yeah, hesistant on this, has a great setup, Hemi, 4spd, Dana. I have seen restored ones selling at mecum for 45K and up. Not a lot of room for resto costs.
