1966 fury III questions
I have a 66 fury III with 318 and auto tranny. I bought a rebuilt tranny locally and there is a couple differences that I hope you can help with. The tranny dipstick tube does not seem to match. Would you have one that works on mine? Also the electrical connection is different. Any suggestions?
Also any suggestions on the car exhaust down tubes?
I had bought a disc brake set and I want to add a brake booster. Where do I get the vacuum from?

I don't know about the dipstick, but the "electrial connection" means that they gave you a late (69/ later) transmission instead of an early (pre 69) trans
The torque converter may be different, so check things out carefully. The early converters had a smaller front snout. There may be spline differences in the input shaft, not sure.
If the converter fits OK, and you get the dipstick ironed out, you can simply hook your neutral safety switch connection to the center post of the 3 terminal switch. This switch on the later trans uses the outer 2 terminals for the backup light switch.
