1967 Chrysler New Yorker Headers/Mods

I just picked up a 67 ny'er about a week ago it has the 440 727 auto.
I've been doing some small stuff like oil change/thermostat/etc i took my y pipe off as it is full of rust holes id like to put headers on the car but unsure of what ones will fit as i have power steering? i found these
http://www.autopartsnetwork.com/cata...ml?filter=part

But im not sure does anyone know of any that isnt a crazy price?

Also i removed the non working a/c and i cant fig how to get the belt to work with the alt there must be an idle pulley near the power steering pump on the cars with non equiped a/c?

The cost of those headers seem awfully cheap to me. The only headers I know of that are "guaranteed" to fit c body cars are made by TTI which I think are on the west coast. Cost? high side of $800 bucks last time I looked. Ever heard of hedman "shortie" headers?? Supposed to fit but I've never seen em' bolted up in real life or pictures.

I THINK there's an adapter pulley or something that can be bolted up when you ditch the A/C system....but not sure.

On a C body I would just put a nice set of 3" duals on it.. As to the air cheap way ?/ Make a bracket (triangle shape) that fits across the water pump like the air compressor and mount an idler on it along with a shorter belt. I have seen them made years ago so ??? might check some place like JC Whitney ???
