what are usually the weakspots of a 1973 Chrysler NewportCustom? I saw one sitting by the road, and it was last registered at 1985. What would be bad with it, and what should I be cautious about?

 

Rust and the fact it hasn't been driven for 33 years. It's going to need every thing!!!

 

Hey, thanks for the response. The body is pretty much rust free and looks pretty darn good. Through I have never been inside the thing or never even tried to fire it up. I dont even know who owns the car. Which parts would need most attention tho?

 

Look at all seals and bushings, rust in the fender welds
