I inherited this from my grandfather. Its been parked since 1979. Its been outside for the last 5 years. With all the snow we got this winter the rear window collapsed in. Needs complete restoration. 383. Located in West Michigan. What should I ask for it? I plan on putting it on craigslist and here. Any where else I should list it?

$300-400 for a date coded 383 motor It is not a hi dollar collectable Not worth the cost of restore unless you are in love with it... Parting it out would be the best Idea

 

On the other hand, it does not seem to have a lot of rust. If the interior is not that bad, why don't you get it in running state and sell it to somebody that will enjoy it. You may not get rich doing it, but why waste a nice car?

 

I think it's better to sell it for scrap, that car will be a huge money pit even just to get it up and running and safe.
