OK, lets go outside the box. If the car has a K frame, then just use another one for the swap. Of course I could be a dumbass , and your car doesnt have a K frame.

One thing, "It's your car. do with it what you want."

All we can do is to tell you what we think is right.

you said it well 78d. Furious, sounds like you dont have a normal car there. We all want to improve our cars, but maybe yours should be left alone. I now bow out, good luck!

It probably is a 318, just the type that came out in 1964 though. It is called a "polysphere" engine. They look big because of the valve configuration. It required a larger head layout. Look at it again, is the distributor in the back of the engine? If it is, then it's probably a 318. Distributor in front is a big-block.

I know I'm a little late to this thread but if it's a rare Mopar then I say leave it alone, but like has been said - it's yours so do what you want.....

going the TC route your going to have to make changes also a little fabbing here and there...intercooler as well...

i say you keep the original engine/tranny in it...just rebuild them as a project a little paint etc. just my 2 cents
